  • Warm, trauma-informed initial contact by phone or in person

  • Comprehensive intake and needs assessment, including:

    • Family situation and demographics

    • Details of abuse experienced

    • Immediate needs such as shelter, medical care, or legal support

  • Development of individualized service and safety plans

  • Court advocacy services, including:

    • Assistance with filing Orders of Protection

    • Preparation for family and criminal court proceedings

    • Court accompaniment for emotional support

  • ACS (Administration for Children’s Services) advocacy, including:

    • Support during investigations

    • Guidance through ACS and family court processes

    • Safety planning focused on children’s well-being

Housing & Stability Services

Safe transitions toward independence.
 

  • Emergency shelter placement and housing referrals

  • Collaboration with local shelters and housing providers

  • Transportation coordination to ensure safe transitions

  • Assistance identifying housing that meets survivor needs (location, family size, safety concerns)

  • Follow-up support after shelter placement to maintain stability

  • House Warming Program, including:

    • Scheduled home visits with outreach staff and caseworkers

    • Delivery of essential household items (kitchenware, linens, basic supplies)

    • Emotional support and community connection for survivors entering new homes

Healing, Counseling & Wellness
