Queen Afua is a best-selling author, holistic health expert, and wellness visionary with over 40 years of experience supporting whole-person healing through lifestyle, nutrition, and self-care. A pioneer of the green foods movement, she is the author of six books—including Sacred Woman (Penguin Random House)—and the creator of the Heal Thyself product line and the Queen Afua Wellness Institute. Her work has inspired more than one million people worldwide through workshops, books, products, and presentations, and her renowned 21-Day Detox and Rejuvenation Program has been clinically tested in partnership with medical doctors to demonstrate measurable wellness outcomes.

Tara O’Neil is a highly skilled licensed massage therapist with nearly two decades of experience, blending clinical precision with a deeply holistic approach to care. With a background in Art History and Anthropology (Ithaca College) and advanced training across modalities including myofascial work, neuromuscular therapy, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral therapy, breathwork, and somatoemotional release, she brings a comprehensive understanding of movement and the nervous system to every session. Her work has included elite performance settings such as the New York Knicks and the US Open, and she now focuses on women’s health—supporting clients through perimenopause and menopause with thoughtful, evidence-informed bodywork.

Janice Rick is a somatically focused trauma-healing practitioner who has maintained a private practice on Manhattan’s Upper West Side since 2011. She draws from a rich set of holistic and trauma-informed models, including Somatic Experiencing (SE), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and additional nervous-system–centered approaches that support resilience, regulation, and deeper emotional integration. With an earlier career as a licensed massage therapist and professional experience in publishing and marketing leadership, Janice brings both warmth and grounded expertise to her work—helping clients reconnect to the body as a steady, trustworthy place for healing and restoration.

Shakira Perez-Jones is a warm, highly skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Georgia, where she runs a thriving private practice. As an EMDR-certified therapist and consultant, she specializes in grief, crisis, trauma, and perinatal mental health, bringing a steady, compassionate presence to complex healing work. Known for her leadership and innovative clinical approach, Shakira supports individuals and organizations through training and consultation—equipping communities with practical tools for recovery, resilience, and long-term wellness.

Alyssa Barba is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and nationally board-certified herbalist (NCCAOM), offering deeply individualized care rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and classical methods. Her training includes clinical experience in hospice care and homeless shelters, and an apprenticeship focused on acupuncture strategies for emotional support; her earlier academic foundation in psychology and neuroscience strengthens her integrative, mind-body lens. In private practice since 2020, Alyssa specializes in women’s health and supports a wide range of concerns—from stress and trauma-related symptoms to menstrual and hormonal conditions and pain management—bringing additional depth through long-term study of meditation, Qi gong, and related internal arts.

Dr. Shana Anthony is a licensed physical therapist with over a decade of experience specializing in pelvic health rehabilitation and craniosacral therapy. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University and is dedicated to helping clients restore balance, trust, and connection within the body. At W.A.R.M., she provides gentle, trauma-informed craniosacral therapy for women healing from partner abuse, with a focus on calming the nervous system and releasing lingering patterns of tension so the body can move toward safety and self-regulation. Her approach honors both the physical and emotional layers of healing, supporting clients as they reconnect with strength, resilience, and inner peace.
